    Cosplay Photoshoot FAQ

How do I commission you for a cosplay shoot?

To request a shoot, please reach out to me directly via instagram, or the contact form. In your message, please include the character you are cosplaying, the series they are from, your general availability, and any specific location or mood ideas you have in mind.

Because I offer these sessions free of charge, my availability is limited, and I take on projects based on my schedule and creative fit. Your shoot is officially locked in once we agree on a date, time, and location!

How do I choose which photos get fully edited?

Within a few days after our shoot, I will send you a private Lightfolio link to a "Proofing" gallery. This gallery contains unedited, watermarked proofs from our session.

Here is how to make your selections:

Open the gallery link and enter your email address.

Browse the photos and click the Heart icon on the images you want edited.

Once you have selected the exact number of images included in your paid package, navigate to your Favorites list.

Click the button to Send Favorites to Photographer. I will be notified immediately and will begin the final editing process.

    Receiving Your Final Images

How do I download my finished photos from Lightfolio?

Once your final edits are complete, I will send you a brand new, highly secure Lightfolio link for your "Final Edits" gallery, along with a private password.

Here is how to save your high-resolution images:

Open the new gallery link and enter your password.

To download a single image, hover over the photo and click the Download icon (the downward-pointing arrow).

To download your entire photoshoot at once, look for the Download All icon at the top of the gallery page.

The system will package your high-resolution files into a ZIP folder and send a secure download link straight to your email.

    Payment & Support

My photoshoot sessions are completely free! I do not charge a mandatory fee for our time together or for your 5 final edited images. However, if you love the results and wish to support my photography, tips or donations (via Ko-fi, PayPal, Cash) are always accepted and incredibly appreciated. Any support goes directly toward covering travel, equipment upkeep, and the hours spent editing.

    Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Mutual Respect: Because I do not require a deposit or charge for my sessions, I am investing my free time and resources into our shoot. I simply ask that you respect that commitment.

Rescheduling: I understand things happen—especially with complex cosplay builds! If you need to reschedule, please notify me at least 48 hours in advance so we can try to find a new date.

Cancellations & No-Shows: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the shoot, or failing to show up on the day of the session without communication, means I will unfortunately not be able to book future collaborations with you.

Lateness: If you are running late, please let me know as soon as possible. If you are more than 20 minutes late without notice, the shoot will be considered canceled.

    Image Turnaround Time (ETA)

Step 1: The Proofs. Within 2 to 3 days after our shoot, I will upload approximately 100 unedited, watermarked photos to your private Lightfolio proofing gallery.

Step 2: The Final Edits. Once you select and submit your 5 favorite images, please allow 1 to 2 weeks for the final delivery. Cosplay edits often involve detailed retouching, skin smoothing, and color grading to bring the character to life, and this timeline ensures every photo gets the attention it deserves.

Need them faster? Rush editing (48-hour turnaround) is available upon request for an additional fee.

    Bringing a Handler or Friend

Can I bring someone to help me during the shoot?
Absolutely! In fact, for complex cosplays with large props, armor, or intricate styling, I highly recommend bringing a "handler" or a friend. Having an extra set of hands to hold bags, adjust wigs, or help with cape tosses makes the shoot go much smoother.

Plus-Ones Welcome: You are welcome to bring 1 to 2 people to assist you, carry your items, or just keep you company and hype you up.

Shoot Etiquette: To ensure we get the absolute most out of our scheduled time, I just ask that your guests step back while we are actively shooting. Please ask them to refrain from taking their own photos over my shoulder, as this can be distracting and slow down our session.
